Do you play sports with your kids ? Are you keen to have them playing sports ? What do they most like ? Do they play football ? Or other team competitive games ? Do they know the rules or invent as they play ? Do you just have fun passing the ball or try to setup teams ? Are they energetic playing ? What about afterwards ? Do you talk about the fun moments you just had ? Tell me your story, here is mine...
The Little Girl shot the ball in the direction of Papi. Papi received the ball and kicked it back. The Little Girl ran to catch the ball and stopped it. The Little Girl kicked the ball back to Papi. Papi and the Little Girl were laughing, they got the ball rolling between them.
Blue Boy saw them playing and tried to join.
"Hello Little Girl", said the Blue Boy.
"Hello Blue Boy", said the Little Girl.
The Little Girl kicked the ball to Blue Boy. "Pass to my daddy", said the Little Girl. And the Blue boy passed to Papi the ball. Papi kicked back to the Little Girl, and the Little Girl kicked the ball to the Blue Boy. the ball was now rolling in a triangle, and everybody was having fun.
More friends of the Little Girl from kindergarten joined. Papi moved slightly away and watch all the kids playing ball. the kids were now very excited. there was no special team, but many kids dribbled the ball between them and passed to others. There was no goal, but they seemed to kick in the direction of what would be a goal. Some would shout "Goal", others clapped hands.
A simple ball joins the kids in the neighborhood, and many of them are just waiting for somebody to start.
Parenting changed my life. Now I want to pass my experience and guidance to my child. I want her to be happy and access many of the things I did not have access to. I want her to experience the world, and share it like what it is through her eyes. This blog is all about parenting and storytelling. I share with you my unique experience. Thank You Little Girl for enriching my life.

Bowling Alley
Do you take your kids to the bowling alley ? Do they like it ? Do you go because you like it ? Who has the idea to go there ? Can the kids through the ball all the way ? Do you use the supporting guiding lanes ? How do they deal with the weight of the balls ? Do you teach them the moves ? Do you know the moves to teach them ? Tell me your story, here is mine...
The blue ball was sleeping in the rack. The blue ball was not woken up usually. Some days the blue ball would not even exit once of the ball rack. The grownups never asked the blue ball to play. And the blue ball did not mind. After all, the blue ball only liked little children to play.
But today was a special day. The blue ball saw the Little Girl in a red dress approaching. The Little Girl looked at the blue ball, and picked up the blue ball.
Children never asked the ball to play. They just came and grab the balls and on they went to the bowling lanes. And the balls did not care, after all the play of the kids was always so much fun. The kids were happy if the balls made it all the way to the pins. The kids were happy if just one pin came down.
The blue ball liked the way the kids play. The kids always happy.
The blue ball was picked up by the Little Girl.
The Little Girl cleaned the blue ball with the bottom of the dress.
"Hello blue ball, you are clean now, you are going to fly to the pins, okay blue ball ?", said the Little Girl.
The Little Girl held tightly the blue ball with both hands, This was another thing the blue ball liked kids, they never placed their fingers in the holes. The kids did not know how to use the holes and did not mind with it.
"Go, go it the pins!", said the Little Girl to the blue ball throwing it along the lane.
The blue ball was happy to have the attention of the Little Girl. The blue ball called all the strength it had and rolled to the pins. The blue ball rolled and rolled and rolled. At the end of the lane, the blue ball took down 3 pins. Just before exiting the lane, the blue ball looked back and saw the Little Girl jumping in happiness.
When the blue ball came back to the beginning of the lane, the blue ball could still see the Little Girl jumping around happy.
"I did it, I did it Papi!", said the Little Girl.
"Next time I need to help the Little Girl hit the 10 pins!", thought the blue ball.

The white cat was sitting lazily on the chair. The Little Girl approached the cat. The Little Girl was attentively looking at the cat. The white cat turned it's head so that he could stare the Little Girl right in the eyes.
With a small hint of fear, the Little Girl approach with the hand to fondle the cat.
The white cat started purring. The Little Girl, started to fondle a bit faster, but the cat did not like and moved away. The Little Girl approached once more and the cat decided to climb up the bookcase.
The Little Girl went to fetch some of the cat's food and started showing the food to the cat.
"Here kitty, here...", called the Little Girl.
But the cat did not come, he couldn't be bothered with such trivial things. The cat wanted to simply relax.
The Little Girl went to fetch some of the cat's toys and started showing the toys to the cat.

The Little Girl went to fetch a ball of string and threw the ball of string to the cat.
But the cat did not come, he couldn't be bothered with such trivial things.
The Little Girl was very sad and cried "Papi, the cat does not come, I want to play with the cat."
"Cat's only play when they want, and they are more stubborn than you Little Girl", said Papi.
"What is stubborn ?", asked the Little Girl.
"Stubborn are people that do what they think without wanting any feedback from other experienced people."
"What is experienced ?", asked the Little Girl.
"Experience is what people that have tried something before learn by doing things.", explained Papi.
"Cat's don't do what other cats have tried before?", asked the Little Girl.
"You will stop calling the cat before the cat responds to your request, it only does what it wants to.", explained Papi.
"But I don't want to stop...", said the Little Girl.
"Sit on the sofa Little Girl, I will show you something."
And the Little Girl sat excitedly on the sofa.
"Be calm Little Girl.", requested Papi.
Papi went to fetch a poster and unfold it by the opposing bookcase to where the cat was.
The cat came and sat on the Little Girl's lap on the sofa.
"Now be very smooth with the cat Little Girl, fondle but very slowly".
The white cat purred while it looked at the picture of a fireplace in Papi's poster.

Snowman
Who loves more to make snowmen ? You or your child ? Do you build it together ? Does he tell you to go away ? Does he care about the details such as carrots for nose, buttons for a shirt, stones for eyes ? Do you destroy the snowman together afterwards ? Who does what when making a snowman ? Or you just watch other kids making the snowman ? Do you wear gloves ? Tell me your story, here is mine...
"SNOW, PAPI, SNOW... Let's go outside and make a snowman!", shouted excitedly the Little Girl when she woke up and saw the beautiful white morning outside.
Suddenly the house was rushing around all busy doing something.
Mami making fast breakfast, Papi looking for the old buttons, the Little Girl searching for a carrot... and then they switched.
Mami dressing the Little Girl, Papi looking for the gloves, the Little Girl being dressed.... and then they switched.
Mami getting the carrot, Papi drinking a fast coffee, the Little Girl putting on the gloves... and then... they went out the door and onto the courtyard.
Papi started rolling a ball of snow, we needed a bog ball of snow to support the snow man. the Little Girl making a small ball of snow for the head.
"Papi, not fair, we need a ball in the middle, fast, fast, I have the ball for the head."
And Papi made a medium size ball to put in the middle.
The Little Girl put the small head ball on top.
The snowman was getting form now.
Papi went to fetch some branches for the arms, and the Little Girl was putting the carrot nose on the head ball.
Soon after everybody was happy looking at the snowman, Stones for eyes, buttons for a shirt, a hat made of newspapers, a beautiful carrot nose.
But the Little Girl continued making snowballs, but this time to target Papi. The started running around the snowman throwing snowballs at each other. The snowman got dizzy and decided to pickup some snow and started running in circles around Papi and the Little Girl.
Everybody was running now, no longer in a perfect circle, just circling around each other.
And when they circled, the snowman became bigger, it was getting new snow with it's feet has it ran around. So Papi and the Little Girl decided to help the snowman. they fetched the snowballs form the snowman's belly.

The Ball
Happy face. Sad Face. Happy face. Where is my ball?
The shooting star flashes in the night sky, all the flowers went to sleep. But where is my ball ?
I cannot find my ball, I cannot ask the pretty flower. The pretty flower is sleeping, and the shooting star did not wake up the pretty flower.
Look down, look up, where is my ball ?
Look left, look right, where is my ball ?
Open your eyes and count the flowers. One pretty flower, two pretty flowers, three. Four pretty flowers, five pretty flowers, six. Where is my ball ?
All the flowers are sleeping, I cannot ask the pretty flowers. Where is my ball ?
Follow the shooting star, follow the shooting star. The shooting star knows where is my ball.
Happy face. Sad Face. Happy face. I found my ball!
Sleep pretty flower, I found my ball, now I can go to bed and fall asleep.
