Why do we have pirates in our imaginary? Do you tell pirate stories to your kids? How do your kids feel about pirates? Do they want to be a pirate? Do they understand what a pirate is? Is a pirate simply a symbol for bad people? Tell me your story, here is mine...
The Little Girl got lost in the library. This library is big. Papi liked to bring the Little Girl to the library, Papi said all stories lived in this big building full of books. And each book could whisper a beautiful story.
The Little Girl was afraid, many stories have bad people or big monsters. The Little Girl did not want to find a bad man or a big monster before she could find Papi.
"Oh! Oh! Oh!", heard the Little Girl from behind the bookshelf, was it Santa Claus or was it a big bad pirate. The Little Girl crouched behind the bookshelf and waited to listen a bit more.
"Oh! Oh! Oh!, Where are all the kids?", must be Santa Claus, he wants to give presents to kids. The Little Girl stood up to go and meet Santa, and continued to listen to the man with the loud voice talking.
"Oh! Oh! Oh!, Where are all the kids? Those nasty little rascals need to be punished for waking me up".
"On no!", though the Little Girl, "that is not Santa, that is an angry man."
And the big angry man appeared from behind the bookshelf, "Ah! Ah! Ah!, Here is a Little Girl, catch her", said the Pirate Captain to all the ugly pirates.
The Little Girl climbed the bookshelf as fast as she could, and the books helped the Little Girl. one by one, the books stretched out of the bookshelf and made a staircase in front of the Little Girl.
the Little Girl ran up the staircase and climbed above the tallest bookshelves. She could now see the clouds under her.
The Little Girl continued to run over the clouds looking for an exit. Suddenly the clouds finished and the little Girl could see down a volcano island with a pirate ship docked in the bay. The Little Girl flew down towards the ship.
As the Little Girl was flying, she looked back and saw the pirates falling from the edges of the clouds into the sea. Suddenly she could listen to a repetitive sound: "tic-toc-tic-toc-tic-toc". She looked down to where the pirates were falling and saw a pair of eyes ticking with the sound. It was the big crocodile. The pirates ran above the water strait to the pirate ship.
The Little Girl was feeling tired of flying and needed to rest, but the only place she could see near enough was the pirate ship. The Little Girl flew slowly to the pirate ship not making any noise.

Parenting changed my life. Now I want to pass my experience and guidance to my child. I want her to be happy and access many of the things I did not have access to. I want her to experience the world, and share it like what it is through her eyes. This blog is all about parenting and storytelling. I share with you my unique experience. Thank You Little Girl for enriching my life.

The Shooting Star
Does your child sleep easily ? Did you manage to teach him a good sleeping schedule ? Do you suffer getting him to sleep ? How many stories do you need to tell before he falls asleep ? How long is the bed preparation time ? Tell me your story.
Here is mine...
The little girl laid quietly on the bed reading the book. Actually she was not reading, she didn't know yet. She could recognize the letter "V", daddy had thought her that letter, he was trying for some time to teach the little girl how to write her name. But didn't matter, she was looking at the pictures. She could see pictures of turtles, small little turtles that would ran on the sand shore trying to reach the sea. The turtles were very small, near some of them we could still see the remains of the eggshells.
Funny little creatures the turtles!
The little girl turned some pages of the book together. If someone was watching he who say the book had pages as thick as the pencils themselves. The seashore gave place to the farm, and at the farm the little girl could see some sheep. The sheep looked like little clouds over the green grass. With this thought the little girl Immediately look out of the window to the sky.
The sky was bright cerulean blue, and had little sheep playing around. The little sheep where chasing a little falling star. The star sang along:
One little sheep, two little sheep, three. Four little sheep, five little sheep, six.
That was enough to make the little girl fall to sleep. And has she fell asleep she started dreaming, she was unlocking her imagination.

"Twinkle, twinkle, little star,
How I wonder what you are.
up above the world so high,
Like a diamond in the sky."
And all the little sheep following the shooting star sang in choir:
"Twinkle, twinkle, little star.
How I wonder what you are.
How I wonder what you are."
And the little girl with a big happy smile counted the little sheep as they ran by her window: One little sheep, two little sheep, three. Four little sheep, five little sheep, six.

The Skyscraper
Do your children tell you your dreams ? Do they share that most inner part of them ? Do you tell them your dreams ? Do you still dream ? Or do you tell your wishes ? Do you talk about the future ? Do you simply tell each other stories ? Tell me your story, here is mine...
Once upon a time a little girl fell in the fountain. When she fell, the huge splash in the water made a rainbow that went straight into the clouds. The little girl stepped on the rainbow and ran upwards. As she ran towards the clouds she counted all the windows in the skyscraper. When she reached the clouds at the top of the rainbow, she could see small smiling fluffy sheep in each window of the skyscraper. She counted the sheep from the soft clouds in the vast blue sky. One little sheep, two little sheep, three. Four little sheep, five little sheep, six. She fell asleep. She fell asleep and floated downwards like a feather. She was now fully grown, she was a beautiful snow flake that made the sun shine brighter as its light reflected on the surface of the beautiful snowflake.
