Send in the Clowns

Do your kids like clowns ? Have they fear of clowns ? Do you like clowns ? Where do you see them ? Do you go to circus ? Or street festivals ? Do you invite clowns for the birthday party ? Do the kids like the tricks clowns do with balloons ? Do they have a clown toy ? Tell me your story, here is mine...

"Papi, why are the clowns always laughing ?" asked the Little Girl.
"They laugh whenever they see a small kid.", answered Papi.
"Always ? they see a kid and they laugh ?"
"Yes Little Girl, but there are also sad clowns, not many"
"When they do not see a kid they stop laughing ?", asked the Little Girl.
"I do not know, never been with a clown without a small kid." answered Papi.
The Little Girl was marveled with the clown. The clown pinched the Little Girl's nose, the Little Girl pressed the big red nose of the clown and it honked. The clown blew a balloon and made it like a dog, the Little Girl grabbed the balloon and barked. The clown grabbed 3 balls from his big pockets and juggled the balls. the Little Girl took a jumping ball from her pocket, threw it in the air and caught it.
The Little Girl was amazed with the clown, she was watching him performed all the nice tricks to all the kids that came by.
But the clown needed to rest, so he stopped, and moved away saying he would come back.
"Papi, let's follow the clown, let's look if he smiles when he is far away from the kids.", said the Little Girl.
The clown went to the back of the tent. in the back of the tent was a sick dog, and the clown gave water to the dog, and spoke nice calm words. The clown was sad.
"Papi, the clown is sad", said the girl.
The clown heard her and turned around, but he still had the big smile on his face.
"Papi, the dog is sick but the clown is happy!", said the Little Girl.
"The clowns are always happy!", said Papi.
"Papi ?", asked the Little Girl.
"Yes ?"
"Are you a clown ?"

The Postman and the Dog

Do you receive a lot of mail ? Do you make orders to be delivered at home ? How do your kids react when they ear the doorbell ? Do you order things for them ? Do you use regular post or express services ? Ever seen the postman chased by a dog ? Do you have many dogs in the neighborhood ? Do the dogs bark at the postman ? Tell me your story, here is mine...

Papi told the Little Girl the postman would bring her a present today. The Little Girl checked the window several times. She was expecting to see the mail truck any time now.
Out of the window she saw the mail truck approaching, and the dogs started barking loudly. The Little Girl looked excitedly through the window as she saw the mail truck driver opening the rear door of the truck.
The neighbor was walking his dog, and the dog was excited to see the postman. The neighbor had to hold the leech with a lot of strength. The dog seamed to be ready to jump at any moment in the direction of the postman.
Suddenly the leech snapped and the dog broke loose. It started barking widely at the postman. The postman got afraid and ran into the house to deliver the package, but dropped the package while he ran. But the postman was not safe. He could listen to the dog on the other side of the door scratching the door furiously.
Papi went down to help the postman. the neighbor was also trying to knot back the dog's leech . When Papi opened the door, the dog had the packet in is mouth. The dog was trying to give back the package to the postman.
The Little Girl opened the package. She was waiting for it for a long time. As she opened it, Papi and the neighbor understood why all the dogs were barking. There was a cat in the package for the Little Girl.

Papi is a Cloud

How is life when you just want to sit down in peace ? Does your child allow you to do that ? How is the energy level of your child playing alone ? Does your child play like a tornado taking everything in it's path or your child plays calmly alone not making any noise ? How do you feel ? Do you like it that way or would you prefer any different ? Tell me your story.
Here is mine...

The little girl jumped on the sofa. The little girl jumped with Bolt the dog on one hand, and Jumpy the rabbit on the other. Bolt didn't like to jump, that was for Jumpy to do. Bolt would rather run than to be just going up and down. It seemed a bit pointless to be on the same spot going up and down, but he's owner, the little girl, seemed to love it. She was smiling and laughing as she jumped up and down.
Jumpy on the other hand was very happy. He always liked when he's owner, the little girl, held him while jumping. The little girl jumped along the L-shaped sofa, leaving no cushion behind without a couple of jumps. Jumpy's ears followed the pattern. The ears were in sync with the little girls hair. Even jumpy's mouth seamed to have a smile as big as the little girl's.
Papi passed by to pickup a book he had left on the sofa. As he did so, the little girl waved at Papi. She was laughing and giggling, Papi was feeling like he could do well with less 50 kg and less 25 years. The sofa's cushions seemed really to invite the jumping up and down. Either that or simply the smiling little girl holding a plush dog and a plush rabbit. one more giggle, Papi smiled back at the little girl.
Since Papi could not jump up and down on the sofa, he decided at least to sit there while the little girl was jumping. while doing so, he dropped the book. The little girl promptly giggled at Papi's mistakes:
"Papi is goofy, Papi is goofy!"
The little girl seemed happy for once having Papi making the nonsense stuff instead of her, it felt good see that Papi also made mistakes, she suddenly felt that she was not alone in the world of silly stuff.
Just as the little girl laughed and sang the new lullaby loudly she banged into Papi while he was sitting. Somehow that laughing and giggling got contagious and infected Papi as well. They both giggled together for being goofy at the same time. Now was Papi's turn to feel good about not being alone making mistakes.
Papi sat and the little girl started a new jumping pattern. When jumping along the L-shaped sofa she passed by Papi, she would sit on his belly. And the lullaby got a new verse when she did that.
"Papi is a cloud! Papi is a cloud!"
That seemed quite a nice way of referring to Papi's extra pounds around the waist. Somehow at that moment the cloud suddenly became radiant as if the sun was just revealing itself from behind the cloud.
The little girl brought all the cushions and built a wall around Papi's belly. She carefully laid the cushions in the same pattern as when she built the Lego walls. Carefully laying the bricks made the soft but solid wall come to life around Papi's belly.
The little girl disappeared for a while to suddenly reappear dressed with the pirate clothes. The little girl became Captain Hook that could fly and was jumping on all the clouds looking for Peter Pan.
Peter Pan would have a tough time today escaping the sword invests of the energetic Captain Hook.
